Right underneath the sign warning you that deer could run across the road at any time they have added a bear crossing.
Bear crossing? Since when? I would be more likely to believe mountain lion crossing before I believe bear crossing.
I haven't heard of any bears crossing the 101. I haven't heard of any accidents or near-misses or sightings.
Why bears? Where did they come from? What are they doing here?
I've never seen one.

I'm thinking about waking up early tomorrow to try and catch some early-morning bear crossings. I need to see it to believe it. I'll bring my camera.

I was wondering, could you please keep an eye out for a sasquatch while you're at it?
I'll get you a sasquatch crossing sign if you find one. But I'll need that photographic proof.
Callie pointed this out to us while I was to home for thanksgiving...I only know what my Mom said and that is that a long time ago there were alot of bears in the area...one must have gotten frisky and made them decide it was time to put this sign up.
