My favorite album of all time is Relient K's Two Lefts Don't Make a Right... But Three Do.
This information hit me on the way home from work today. I needed some jams for the ride home, and I randomly selected a play list. Relient K came over the speakers, and it was a welcome sound.
I started thinking how that particular album is always welcome. I met Relient K in 2003, and I have never gotten tired of them. I always enjoy Two Lefts. I purchased other albums from Relient K, but Two Lefts is by far my favorite. Always funny, always light, always trusty. It gives me exactly what I want. I didn't think I had a favorite album of all time, but I do.
Now, there may be other albums out there that should be in the running, but I don't own them. Thanks to iTunes, I usually buy my songs in singular now, instead of in albums. I may be missing out on something wonderful, but I don't really think so. I think about all the CD's I've purchased in the past that had only a few good songs. It's such a risk to buy a whole CD.
So...what do you think? Do you have a favorite album? Do you only buy songs, not albums?
Also, I wanted you to know that I thought it might be a good idea to roll my ankle while walking in downtown SLO tonight. Turns out it was actually a bad idea, and my ankle hurts like crazy right now.

This assignment was a little stressful. I think that my favorite album (consistently) is If Your Feeling Sinister by Belle and Sebastian. Phew, that was rough.
My favorite changes a lot, but I always seem to go back to Jimmy Eat World (their self-titled album). It always makes me feel good and I can listen to it over and over again.

I am also a major fan of Two Lefts. In fact, this post inspired me to listen to it. I'm listening to it now, in case you didn't figure that out.
I generally buy singles instead of full albums, but I do have some faves. I really like Room Noises by Eisley. I think you don't like Eisley.
I also really like a lot of music by Imogen Heap and, like Marissa, I fall back on Jimmy.
I prefer mix tapes. Or mix CDs...MP3s? Whatev. Mix tapes. You know what I'm talking about.
