Tonight i ran outside!
I was all sorts of ticked at a friend tonight. And i just had to get out. So i ran outside. It felt so great. I was so proud of myself. And then, i was able to tell my friend exactly how i was feeling. It was a big night. A great, wonderful, self-conquering night.
I think i was motivated by Pam from The Office. I ran across my own coals tonight, and it was great.
Thanks, Pam, here's to you.

Question:
I have decided to become a runner.
Yes, this is crazy talk, i understand that, but i will do it nonetheless.
I've been doing good so far, but i am not sure what stretches are best for runners. I don't want to accidentally overlook a part of my body that i am not used to stretching. Also... how long do you stretch? I want to know what is recommended, and how long everyone actually stretches. I've seen people at the gym "stretching," but they are just striking poses. Does everyone do this? Am i going to be ridiculed for thorough stretching?

I can't
Last week Kathleen, Greg and I set goals for each other. For one of Kathleen's goals, we decided she should cook a meal for us. (She never cooks, except for sandwiches which don't count.) Anyway, she did a great job and went all out... decorated the place and everything. She even had lovey music in the background.
It was so romantic, except for the part that was Greg... he is so not romantic... i keep looking at my watch tan, which is much darker than yesterday.... just check out the pictures...

Kathleen can do this really great trick where she stands over the stairwell.

I can't.

Harry
I just finished reading the 6th Harry Potter.
I've read it before, but that was a speed read.
This time i got my hands dirty and now am emotionally distraught. The first time around i was relatively stoic, but this time, oh man!! Harry and his problems have been tormenting my brain. I finished the book around 6:45 pm, and have not really stopped thinking about it since...
Oh man, i need to go do something... I gotta shake this.

Winter Semester Highlights
Oh man, i am so glad finals are over. School is hard. I don't know if anyone has ever told you that, but school is pretty hard.
As most of you know, i was sick for about the last month of my existence, which was very unfortunate. I was kind of a zombie. But somehow i managed to do okay, because when i got my grades back for last semester, i had 4 A's and 3 B's! And when i saw that on the computer i realized that is a whole heap of classes and it's no wonder my immune system needed a break.
Anyway, it's not like last semester was no fun at all, in fact, it was a whole heap of fun. Here are a few highlights that i may not have previously mentioned:

Kathleen turned 21 at the end of February. We celebrated with virgin margaritas, virgin jello shots and karaoke. We are really always celebrating with karaoke.

One night Stacy London had her hair in curls. The next day my roommates had my hair in curls. It was kind of a big day for me.

Another karaoke night. We had about 10 people there, and we did it on our back porch so we could have a stage. I know you don't know that there were more people there, because they are not in the picture, but i figured Tara and i looked the best, so you get a picture of us.
Side-Pony Sunday.

FHE talent show. Kathleen and Jenna made up a song about our apartment. It was really really lovely and very very unexpected.

This is Patrick, our one FHE brother. He's trying to woo us on the guitar under the pretense of sharing a talent.

We aren't easily wooed. I'm sick in the picture. I was kinda in a daze, and didn't share a talent. It was highly unfortunate.

Tara and Shalyn singing "Step Sister's Lament." It was beautiful.

Ladies Night Out. Our last night together. It rocked. I believe that was due mostly to our awesome matching T-shirts.

Going to Crazy
Oh! Oh, hey guys!
Howz it going? I haven't been around much, that is for sure, and i am so sorry. I've been busy going crazy. But that is no excuse. How are you suppose to put off doing stuff if you don't have my blog to distract you? I know, it is rather unacceptable. But you could always go to www.homestarrunner.com for a good time.
Well, while you run off with Strong Bad and the others, i will finish up three advertising campaigns (my goal is to get them printed and bound by Saturday), prepare for my trip to Chicago, and learn about a thousand new German words, and then be tested on them. But i should count my blessings: at least my house isn't as sticky as Amanda's.
I'll see you guys after finals week.

Question
Question:
I have a Book of Mormon class i need to take for my last semester. Basically, it comes down to taking it from a teacher who appears to be very easy, or taking it from a teacher who is known to be hard, but apparently, i would learn a lot. Also, i checked out his website, and there seems to be a lot of stuff dependant on how cool my other classmates are. Group meetings and projects and such. So, do i want to learn a lot? Do i want to hope for the best freshmen to be in my class? Or should i keep my nose down, take an easy class, and if there are dumb freshmen in my class (which BOM is a freshmen class) i won't have to interact with them?
I don't know. What does everyone think?

Skiing
On president's day I went with Tara and Christina to Kelly Canyon. Tara and i have never really skied before, and i was a little nervous.
But Christina teaches little kids how to ski all the time, so we knew we were in good hands.
Top o'the bunny hill. Why is is called "bunny"? And are the bigger hills called jackrabbits?
Somehow, Christina persuaded me to go down the big hill. I'm pretty sure i was more scared of the chair lift than i was of going down the hill.
I will have you know that i didn't fall once on the bunny hill. But i fell when i got off the chair lift. I had never fallen before, so i had no idea how to get up. The chair lift operator had to stop the lift and help me up. I needed a lot of help.
I also fell about 60 times on my way down the hill.
But Christina would go down backwards and hold my hands on the steep parts. She is in the red coat in the way back, helping me down the mountain. I have better pictures of this technique, i just wanted everyone to get an idea of how confident all the little kids are while they zoom around the mountain.
