Career Change?

I was chillin' in one of my classes, when my teacher says, "Myriah, you should become a stand up comedian!" (I don't think she was being sarcastic...)
So, after much thought about quiting school, moving to L.A., and just pursuing my career on stage, i decided that i might as well duke out 6 more months and maybe i could put, "Willing to do amateur comedy routines at board meetings and around the office," on my resume.
I think that is the best idea i've had in a long time.

That's hilarious! I've told Brandon that he would be a good stand up too. It must run in the family. Maybe Elle or Bryn will be next!

Probably....
Although, I think maybe Bryn has more promise....But don't tell Elle.

People tell me that too. I don't think it would work for me on many different levels: 1. Who would watch Lillian? and 2. Who would come see me? As for putting it on your resume, if they're paying you during the time you give these "amateur routines," then technically, you'd be professional.

Amy, that is a lovely idea. I should think my degree will get me on stage.
