So I was searching for videos and pictures of the Blizzard of 2011 on the local news page, and I came across this picture. The caption read, "Woman thrown to ground from wind gust." (It actually read "women" but I decided it was a typo, as I didn't spy any other women on the ground in the picture.) The caption subtext was, "
Just as I stepped outside, a wind gust literally took this woman's feet out from under her. I helped her get to the parking garage and she was shaken up, but OK."
I'm just glad they took the picture. I laugh so hard every time I see this picture.
Hahahaha! At first I thought you took this picture of some random person you saw splayed out on the pavement. I am so glad the helper stopped to take a picture before said helping. It's hilarious!
ReplyDeleteOne more comment: her shoe choice was a mistake. I hope she has learned her lesson.
ReplyDeleteThats hilarious. Reminds me of the days at BYU-I when we used to sit by the second floor windows of the science building and watch people slip on the ice. Enjoy your first official Chicago blizzard!
ReplyDeleteI thought you took it at first too! That is crazy I cant imagine...Stay warm buddy ... at least you've found a way to laugh at it...I like that about you.
